The incredible tale of the worldwide military-fantasy success, Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin), comes to an end with its final season scheduled to air in Fall 2020.
Today, as Season 3 - Part 2 has aired its final episode, the official Twitter released a teaser to announce the final season of the anime, set to air in Fall 2020. The PV however consists only of a couple of static images and some aesthetically pleasing text — fifteen seconds worth checking out still.

Recently, Hajime Isayama (the mangaka) announced in an interview that the wrap-up of the manga would take place in one or two years. The last season adapted up to chapter 90 of the source, making it so far roughly 1.5 chapters per episode. As of July 2nd there are 118 chapters out, so it can be expected for the next season to have 2 or even, for the fans' delight, 3 cours.
Shingeki no Kyojin is a Japanese action, military, mystery, super power, drama, fantasy, shounen (src: MyAnimeList) manga published in Kodansha's magazine Bessatsu Shōnen by the writer and illustrator Isayama Hajime.
In 2013, it was adapted into anime format by Wit Studio and Production IG. The story follows mainly Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert; three friends amid the civilisation hiding behind walls, seeking protection from the gigantic man-eating aberrations lurking beyond their safe haven.
Up until 2019, the franchise already has 3 seasons (5 cours or 59 episodes), 1 more scheduled season, 8 OVAs, 3 recap movies and 1 recap episode, a real life special, a chibi short season, 1 picture drama, a planetarium movie, and 3 VR movies.
