On June 10th, Yen Press announced on their Twitter the acquisition of three new titles joining their manga catalog in December, 2019.

Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story

Magia Record is a Japanese mobile video game which was released in 2017 and is scheduled for an English release in 2019. Since 2018, it has been adapted into manga by the illustrator Fujino Fuji, serialized by Manga Time Kirara Forward.

This spin-off introduces a brand new magical girl who arrives in a new city in search for her missing sister. It's inspired in the famous original anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica produced by Shaft, Inc. (the same studio as Monogatari), a mahou shoujo psychological fantasy that took the anime world by storm with its dark twists.

Shadow Student Council Vice President Gives Her All

This Prison School spin-off tells the story of Meiko Shiraki, the vice president of Hachimitsu Academy's student council, on her senior year at the school where the original manga takes place. Meiko can be said to be the poster girl of the series, since her cleavage is the first thing to be seen when "Prison School" is searched on Google Images.

Prison School is an ecchi comedy seinen (in)famous for its absurdist lewd comedy and voluptuous character design. The story follows five perverted boys who are accepted into a formerly girls-only school. The group of friends has the idea to peep into the girls' bathroom, only to be found out by the Underground Student Council, of which Meiko is part of, and be thrown into the school's jail.

King of Eden

From the acclaimed Takashi Nagasaki, co-author of 20th Century Boys and Monster, comes the print version of the Korean mystery King of Eden.

Not much about this manhwa is known, however it has already been published on French Amazon licensed by Ki-oon. The Yen Press page for the first chapter tells:

A remote village massacred in Andalusia. A single man apprehended wading through the aftermath. But the killer they've brought down from the mountains is entirely impossible for them to retain... The world has been stained by blood before. So it shall be again.
