Seven Seas Announces 10 New Licenses for Easter

As part of an egg-citing Easter special, Seven Seas Entertainment is announcing a series of new manga and light novels that will soon enter the west both digitally online and physically in your stores.

Seven Seas Entertainment is a publisher of manga, comics, and novels since 2004, with rights to 299 titles as of April 17th 2019. Growing continually, its releases of Japanese pieces that didn't garner much popularity nor had wide marketing is a notable quirk of this publisher. It has also licensed many popular franchises, including Monster Musume, The Ancient Magus' Bride, Devilman, Sakamoto Desu Ga, Classroom of the Elite and Toradara.

Scarlet

First we have Scarlet, an underground yuri fantasy ecchi manga, by the new author Chiri Yuino. The story follows Finé Hera, who, along a beautiful but wolfish Red Riding Hood, goes on a bloody and lewd quest for the drug that made her become a blood-hungry mistress.

My Room is a Dungeon Rest Stop

Then My Room is a Dungeon Rest Stop, a manga adaptation of an isekai light novel series written by Tougoku Hudou and illustrated by Takoyaki Yoshi. A high school dropout called Touru rents a deluxe property for a cheap price, and there he finds a portal to another world. Eventually, he ends up having to share his bedroom with a gorgeous knight, the young woman Ria.

Dirty Pair

The adventure Sci-Fi comedy manga Dirty Pair comes to shop. Adapted from the classic PG-13 novel by Yasuhiko Yoshikazu (Art) and Takachiho Haruka (Story) — which was also adapted into an anime by Sunrise —, it is now a manga series by Tamaki Hisao (Star Wars: A New Hope's artist) and Takachiho Haruka (Story) that debuted in 2010. The Dirty Pair is a two-women team of agents from the WWWA ready to solve whatever problem, but with a lot of collateral damage.

Saki the Succubus Hungers Tonight

Saki the Succubus Hungers Tonight, a mature romance manga completely novel to the West, hits the stores for the first time. By Homare Mikokuno, the author of several other ecchi manga, it is a tale of a beautiful and naive woman in training to be a succubus. She is eventually assigned to a virgin man in his 30's, and a sexy romantic comedy ensues!

Destiny Lovers

Now, the manga Destiny Lovers. Kai Tomohiro (a.k.a. Ink Complex) and Kazutaka (Story) work on the story of an unsociable high-schooler Fujishirou Kousuke who promised to marry his childhood friend, Sayaka. However, his vow is compromised when he is kidnapped and jailed in a prison-like place, whose guard is a lustful woman. The ecchi manga is published in Japan by Magazine Pocket, a publisher with consistently short franchises.

World'd End Harem: Fantasia

World'd End Harem: Fantasia, a seinen romance harem fantasy with lots of ecchi. LINK (writer of the Sci-Fi bestseller World's End Harem) cooperates with SAVAN (artist for Toro Lover?) in this new chapter of the mature adventure, where the world is attacked by demons, and only the hero can stop this apocalypse with his harem.

Cosmo Familia

Puella Magi Madoka Magica's artist Hanokage brings us Cosmo Familia, a Sci-Fi magical girl manga. Mysterious cute creatures called 'Cosmof' invaded the world, and Amakawa Alice is holding down the fort where the last humans remain, while waiting for her missing family to someday return. She refuses to give up on them even when everyone believes her mother, Laika, caused the Cosmof invasion.

SCP Foundation Iris of the Mirror World

SCP Foundation Iris of the Mirror World, the global collaborative fiction project gets its first light novel adaptation by Akira and Sidu. This time, a young man starts experiencing an eldritch event: every book he opens has the same photo of a girl inside. He is eventually kidnapped by the SCP Foundation, an organization that contains supernatural phenomenons throughout the world. There, he finds out the girl's name is Iris, and he will have to work with her.

My Father is a Unicorn

Monaka Suzuki, who has only worked with BL before, debuts in the comedy genre with My Father is a Unicorn. It's a hilarious tale of a high school boy and his shapeshifting unicorn step-dad! 

How Many Kilograms are the Dumbbells You Lift?

As the tenth and last announcement of the Easter special by Seven Seas, Dumbbel Nan Kilo Moteru (in English How Many Kilograms are the Dumbbells You Lift?) is the weightlifting manga which has recently gotten an anime adaption announced with a preview. The story revolves around high-school girl Sakura Hibiki who has an unending appetite. After noticing her waistline expanding, she decides to enroll into a gym.
